Call for Papers: IPPS 2011
5 - 6 October 2011, Llandudno, Wales, UK
Please note that the call for papers has now closed, however poster presentations may still be considered within the topics listed in the original call, see below.
Papers are invited for submission to the International Panel Products Symposium 2011. These can represent all aspects of the
panel products industry from raw material and resins through processing technologies to the applications and markets for wood based panels. Poster presentations in the same field are also welcome.
A selection of high quality papers presented at the conference will be published in a conference edition of the International Journal of Wood Products.
Suggested topics for the symposium are as follows:
- Resin systems and novel formulations or additives
- Recycled and novel fibrous feedstocks
- Processing technologies and process control systems
- Pre-processing, fractionation and pre-treatment for feedstock optimisation
- The built environment and other end-uses
- Chemical composition, visualization and microstructure
One page abstracts (600 words in length) should be sent to the conference organizer
no later than the 20th May 2011. Abstracts for poster presentations will be considered up until 15th July 2011. Successful authors will be expected
to provide a full paper for inclusion in the proceedings by 30th July 2011.
